Is it just me or are dogs the best.
I am more a dog person than a people person, I know a lot of you can relate. I specialise in photographing animals. You will find it is not the same as photographing people. I spend a lot of the time laying on the ground level with your pet, it's where the best angle is at. I'm all about the way they are naturally, how they play, how they interact with you, the way they run, sit, their presence around their people. It is such a enjoyable experience and every photo shoot is unique and different. I have photographed hundreds of dogs and more than half of the owners tell me their dog won't sit still for a photo. That hasn't been a problem once. Treats help a bit. To be honest with you I just love it, I love being around so many dogs and giving them some extra affection love and i love delivering people galleries of their pets. Its a passion and it fills my heart.
Why Pet Photography?
Why not? When I said to Hubby I wanted to start a Pet Photography Business, he was all for it. Pets are the best, they love us unconditionally and we should always treat them like the precious beings that they are. I had 1000 photos of my dog on my phone but i never got any professionally done and when she passed I didn't want other people to go through the same regret I had. Dreaming Pet Photography was created so no one misses out on capturing that special bond you share with your pet.
Sad story next...
We are never prepared when they leave us.
A love like no other
We are never prepared when they leave us.
Since as long as i can remember we always ha dogs, I had a beautiful border collie x blue Cattle named Lady from the age of 10 to the age of 21 when she passed in my arms. Nothing prepares you for a loss like that. But every new dog you get a new love comes with it and every time they leave us it hurts just as much. A few years ago we had to say goodbye to our 2 Aussie Bulldogs, Banner at the age of 2 got heart disease and 6 months later our old boy Gus passed (pic), his health took a turn for the worst.
